WEAFRI offers quality Brine Filtration Services to our esteemed clients, without lowering our HSE standards, through the provision of state-of-the-art sets of filtration (VPL and Filter Press) equipment, materials and professional expertise to achieve Clear Brine Fluids (CBF) at a rate of 20bpm and above, with Nephelometric Turbidity Unit (NTU) <10, to ensure a clean wellbore devoid of debris, drilling fluid residue and solids that can negatively impact well productivity.

The objective of our Filtration service is to provide solids-free completion fluids to get rid of wellbore contaminants, which diminishes production and shorten the productive life of the well; also, to prevent particles from obstructing pores in the formation, to maximize yield from oil/gas wells, minimize formation damage and protect the formation.

Accumulation of debris in a pipeline gives rise to reduced available internal diameter, but pigging on a regular basis to clean solids, scale, wax build-up (paraffin), and other debris from the pipe wall, sustains good pipeline flow efficiency. Pipeline pigging can be done during all phases of the life of a pipeline to obtain information about the pipeline diameter, curvature, bends, temperature and pressure, as well as corrosion and/or metal loss.

Pigs may be used in hydrostatic testing and pipeline drying, internal cleaning, internal coating, liquid management, batching, and inspection. A combination of gelled liquids, gel pigs can be used in conjunction with conventional pigs or by themselves to achieve product separation, debris removal, hydrotesting, dewatering and condensate removal, as well as removing a stuck pig.

WEAFRI shall provide slickline Equipment and Services that comply with industry standards and specifications. Services shall include, slickline operations on standard pressure equipment (<5000 psi surface working pressure) and high pressure (>H25 10,000 psi surface working pressure) wells in fixed platforms in about 100 - 250 ft (MSL) water depths. Typical completions type includes but will not be limited to 2-7/8", 3-1/2", 4-1/2", 5-1/2" and 7" tubing sizes. Slickline services may also be required during production or drilling operations as the need arises.

Weafri Well Services Company Limited have been involved in most (wild) well control activities in Nigeria since the year 2002; teaming up with world renowned wild well control experts such as Wild Well Control and Boots & Coots Inc. A history of our well control operations is presented at the job history section of this document.

Our success and expertise in wild well control services have given us leadership role among the indigenous companies. Our skid mounted heat shield used to house portable fire monitors and marine manifold with water cannons equipped with 4"-6" size monitors with various foam nozzle sizes in conjunction with our high pressure high volume flooding pumps can undertake any wild well (fire) control situation.

Currently, WEAFRI and CUDD Well Control, a division of CUDD Pressure Control Inc. have entered a Reciprocal Services and Logistics Agreement on wild well control and other related services to improve and increase timely, efficient and concise response to the emergent well control needs of the Nigeria oil and gas industry and ensure the reduced associated loss of lives and capital investments.

Drilling fluids are critical to maintaining well control and wellbore stability throughout the drilling operation timely and on target. It tackles a full range of drilling mud challenges and Optimizes drilling operations by cooling and lubricating BHA tools and improving hole cleaning

In addition, they suspend cuttings during circulating and transporting them to surface to optimize drilling operations. They also clean, cool and lubricate the bit.

Drilling fluids also isolate the surrounding formations by developing a tight filter cake across permeable sections. Drilling fluids may be water base or non- aqueous based. These fluids are selected and designed based on geologic conditions and directional and geometric requirements. Waste management is unique, based on the requirement and conditions of the drilling site. However, the selection of the options must be taking into consideration all aspects. Zero discharge is the ultimate target of waste management. Selection of waste management method must consider economics, environmental and operational aspects of the waste management.

Proper waste treatment must be done before any direct discharge to sea, but the decision must also consider environmental impact, local regulations and operational aspects such as additional equipment for treatment.

To optimize the results of a cementing job, its important to fully investigate the properties of the slurries, pre- flushes and spacers to be used, and their interaction with the Wellbore fluids and well safety.

We believe the best possible results can be achieved when the rheology, thickening time, fluid loss and compressive strength development using the latest VISCOMETER, HPHT CONSISTOMETER, HPHT FILTER PRESS and UCA equipment are fully evaluated. Our laboratory Services are critical to the success of WEAFRI operations.

Here, the slurries are carefully designed to match the most demanding applications. To aid in the design and evaluation of cementing jobs, WEAFRI uses OPTICEM Software. These are specifically designed to provide our Engineers with a comprehensive engineering aspect of the cementing operations.
